Yesterday was World Refugee Day—a day to honor refugees and celebrate the strength and courage of those who have been forced to flee their homes.
Around the world, the number of refugees, internally displaced, and stateless populations has reached staggering new heights, and an estimated 50% of this population are women and girls. When faced with a crisis, the need for reproductive health care doesn't go away. In fact, those in humanitarian settings and those who are forcibly displaced are at increased risk for reproductive health concerns, making access to FP/RH services a lifesaving intervention.
